Blackship Developers and BlackshipDevs ("we," "us," or "our") respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our applications, websites, and services, including but not limited to Too Hard Pile (toohardpile.com), MemorySpace, Power PDF, and Picto (formerly published as "English Verbs & Forms Offline").

By using our applications, websites, or services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

A. Information we collect

We design our apps to minimize data collection. The types of information handled may depend on the specific app, feature, and services you use.

a. Personal information

We do not intentionally collect personal information unless it is necessary for a specific app feature, user-requested action, legal requirement, or third-party service used in the app.

b. User-created content

Some of our apps may allow you to create, save, edit, import, export, or share content such as notes, reminders, documents, PDFs, forms, images, or files.

Unless clearly stated in the app or required by a feature you choose to use, this content is stored locally on your device and is not intentionally collected by us.

Some of our apps display ads served by third-party advertising partners, including Google AdMob. To deliver, measure, and (where permitted) personalize ads, these partners may access your device's advertising identifier and limited technical data. Ad personalization and data use are governed by the advertising partner's own policies — for Google, see the Google Advertising policies.

You can limit or reset ad personalization at any time from your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads). Where required by law, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads.

E. Third-party services

Our applications may use third-party services, software development kits, or platform tools for purposes such as analytics, crash reporting, advertising, billing, cloud services, or app functionality.

These third-party services may collect information according to their own privacy policies. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of any third-party services used through our applications.

Examples may include services provided by Google, such as Google Play Services, Firebase, AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, or Google Play Billing, if used in a specific app.

Our apps may request access to certain device features depending on functionality, such as storage, camera, notifications, files, media, or other permissions.

Permissions are requested only when needed for app features. You can manage or revoke permissions through your device settings, though some features may stop working properly if required permissions are disabled.

K. Data retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide app functionality, improve our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our policies.

Content stored locally on your device can usually be deleted by you within the app or by uninstalling the app.

If you believe we have collected information about you and want it deleted, you may contact us using the contact information below, or use the account and data deletion options provided in the app or on our website where available.

L. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by our applications and services, including encryption of diagnostic data in transit.

However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect user information responsibly.

M. Children's privacy

Our applications are not directed to children and are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law (for example, under 13 in the United States, or the applicable minimum age of digital consent in your region).

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action, including deleting the information.

N. International users and data transfers

Your information may be processed or transmitted in countries other than your own, where data protection laws may differ. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives an appropriate level of protection as required by applicable law, such as relying on recognized safeguards. O. Sensitive information

Please do not submit sensitive personal information through our applications or services unless a feature specifically requires it and you choose to provide it.

P. User sharing

We are not responsible for information you choose to share publicly or with third parties through app features, device sharing options, exported files, links, or external services. Please use caution when sharing information.

Q. Too Hard Pile (web service)

Too Hard Pile, at toohardpile.com, is a website rather than a mobile app, so the following applies specifically to it. Too Hard Pile also publishes its own privacy policy at toohardpile.com/privacy; where that policy is more specific about the service, it applies alongside this one.

a. Using it without an account

The Decision Toolbox can be used without an account, without an email address and without signing up. You can also try a practice drill without signing up.

b. Information collected if you create an account

If you create an account so your practice can be saved, we collect and store:

• Your email address, which is used to sign you in
• An optional display name, if you choose to set one
• The practice progress you generate by rating drills, including streaks and review scheduling
• Anything you choose to write in your decision journal or in saved entries
• Any feedback or support messages you send us

This information is used to run the service — to sign you in, to schedule your spaced-repetition reviews, to show your progress, and to reply to you. We do not sell it.

c. Payments

Paid plans are processed by third-party payment providers: Creem acts as merchant of record for international payments, and Razorpay processes payments in India. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered with those providers and are never seen or stored by us. Those providers handle your payment information under their own privacy policies and applicable payment-industry rules; we receive only the information needed to activate and manage your subscription, such as confirmation of payment and plan status.

d. Cookies and analytics on Too Hard Pile

Too Hard Pile sets a session cookie so that you stay signed in; it carries no tracking payload and is not shared with third parties. Google Analytics is used to understand aggregate, de-identified usage of the site, and sets analytics cookies in your browser. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, as described in section C. Too Hard Pile does not show third-party advertising.

e. Deleting your Too Hard Pile account

You can request deletion of your Too Hard Pile account and the data associated with it — your email address, practice progress and journal entries — by contacting us at the email address in the contact section below, or by using any account-deletion option provided in the service.

R. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last modified" date above.

Continued use of our applications, websites, or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
